A very good photo Andrew, am I right in thinking that the original St Thomas church, now combined with St James was in Caroline Street, near St Joseph's?

AW - that's the one - some of the fixtures and fittings were transferred to St James from St Thomas when it closed.

Garry, you're not having a good week, are you?
It's NOT Asda on the Wheatlea Estate, it is Saica Packaging, Total Fitness and the new Derbyshire Farm Business Park just off Warrington Road.

Andrew, I remember St Thomas's being demolished and feeling quite sad, it is nice to know it lives on as part of St James.
