A beautiful capture Rev David....the lovely pink colour contrasts nicely with the dark stone of the church....which I remember well....hope you are well and enjoying your retirement.... Cheers!!!

Theres some old graves near to the church front door.

I always wonder what they died of

Rev David; From this photo, the spire looks as `bent` as St.Catharine`s was!
Would it have been better taken earlier with just blossom i.e. without leaves on the trees?

Thanks, Lizzie - I'm enjoying my gardening - and scanning in slide images from the past. I help out at St Wilfrid's a bit as well.
As you can see, Ernest, it was taken at 7.30 am, as I arrived to celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter Day. Much earlier and it would have been dark. ;-)) As for the lean - I'll have to remember to keep the spirit level feature on my camera turned on.

Went to watch The Manchester boys choir give a concert in there many years ago. Unforgettable.
