Its been a very long time since I walked in Borsdane Wood, back in the mid forties, it was (correct me if I am wrong) a rough area, not well kept, I guess that was the way most things were in the mid forties. It looks really good now, thank you.

Walked in the woods in early forties with my dad Ellis brother Brian and uncle Tom Scarborough.It was a beautiful place.We were usually alone on Sunday morning with the ruseling trees occasional squirrel or rabbit to add to the never forgotten joy.The woodkeeper lived in anie bungalow.
