Bridge 63

Bridge 63
Formally Crawford Arms. Being refurbished and extended at Red Rock, I believe it should be ready for May. I think the extension is to be a cafe.

So did I Ken ! did you originally live at Bent Houses near to Woochy Rook ? if so I have fond memories as a child waving to your mam as we walked past, that would be back in the early 50s

Yes Walt, I did live at Bent Houses, Woochy dominated our skyline, it was the first thing I saw through the front bedroom window everyday, had some great times around those Houses, lots of heaps to slide down especially in winter time.

Thought so Ken,lovely woman your mam, firstly we would wave at Mrs Taylor as we passed then past your mams house, then over to the Woochy. In the summer holidays we would swim in the Fiver, goodness, its a wonder we didn't catch something awful. I also went to Aspull Methodist school until 1958 when the Secondary school opened.
