Yes Lizzie, it should have read Bridge street Hindley. Maybe then people know where the church is!

Garry the church is in Ladies Lane and the junction of Market Street. Bridge Street starts after Pennington Street.

Thanks all. You are right Keith, John I held the camera up as high as possible to try and avoid it and even thought of asking to use the upstairs of the shop behind.

About 3 weeks ago,I watched a bloke shin up the downspout of the apse,(I think that's the correct term),the sticky out bit to the right with the arched door below.He proceeded to scale the pitched roof by way of the stone copings on the edge of roof,crawled along the ridge tiles,rescued his escaped budgie,then came down again. Unbelievable.
