Wonderful photo. You are so lucky to have places like this to visit, not a 'satanic mill ' in sight !

Makes me feel like a walk as we did on Good Fridays in years gone bye

I really like this photo Ron. That's a fantastic zoom on your camera, particularly as it isn't a zoom lens as such. A nice atmospheric shot!

Helen, nowt wrong with a satanic mill now and then!

Margaret, It is a zoom lens on one of those bridge cameras. I Don't prefer it to my canon slr,but much lighter ,and in most instances, very little difference in quality.

Very nice shot Ron, this is the type of shot I use on my pc wallpaper. This photograph brings some happy memories for me Ron thanks for that. Nice pick

Looks like a painting or other.

Just wondered if anyone could say whether the 'Pike' was man-made or is it a natural occurence?

Cor! bet it's a bit nippy during this bad weather.
Can never remember what the small square tower is in the distance.
Lovely scene

Where in Haigh was this taken Ron?
I wouldn't mind a visit to see this.
