Pansy in the park
Photo: Gerry Mawdsley (Nikon D7000 1/60 sec F3.8 at iso 280)
Goodness!!(literally, if these pansies were in my local park, they would be buried under about 3 feet of snow!)
....Still, it's nice to see them!
This is a nice photo, however, I did get a fleeting picture of another pansy in the park. Must be my mind.
Very pretty Gerry....nice picture...cheers!!!
a nice bit of Winter colour
nice to see some colour in this dismal weather, cheers
Christine, i'll have this 'dismal' weather as you call it, instead of Ellen's 3 feet of snow, or any snow at all come to think of it.
I like the way the cafe and all the trees are all blurred
ellen,
Many years ago I was sat in the cafe up there with my daughter from Canada and her Newfoundland husband. They loved the park and he asked me if they keep it clear in the winter. I burst out laughing (in a nice way of course) and he realised what he had said.
They are used to 18 feet of snow in Newfie. They walk to school and look down onto the tops of the telephone poles...!!!
Nice photo too, Gerry. Very atmospheric.
Fred; They have just had a taste of the storm which passed from west to East and hit us last week. This has been so far the snowiest(if there is such a word)winter so far, and most winters are just starting (in January) with the snow storms!
