Right O way
Photo: Ron Dawber (Canon Powershot G9)
Where's the shovel, or is there a catch all under the horses tail. I cant see the raven pub so we won't get a comment from Jim Latham
That looks like a heavy work horse for such a light and Sprightly vehicle.
Very interesting to look at, but should it really be on the pavement?
What a lovely horse...so smart...tail and hoof feathers trimmed so neat.....nice one Ron.......Cheers!!!
Obstruction..that should'nt be allowed, gypsies are as bad, holding up traffic on our roads. That's photos taken at the top of Wallgate and not Library St..Ron. That coach is turning down Library St!
Well you don't see one of them every day in Wigan town centre do you!? I wonder where they park it while they pop into a shop?
great photo.taxi drivers suffering cut backs .
There should be a bobby around, your not supposed to be on the pavement with a vehicle/trailer/cart/ push bikes.
Ive seen these gypsie boys all over Wigan and district and drive these horse and carts like lunatics on the roads.
I saw one of once with a mother holding her baby sat next to the driver.
Right place right time, Nice one Ron
That's a one off Ron, any idea what he was doing there, just ignore the negative remarks!
Harry C, how can these comments be negative...is it right for push bikes to ride on the pavements, is it right for HGVs, cars and horses with carts to park on the pavement...I don't think so. These comment should not be ignored, these comments are from decent Wigan people who care about the town. This dose not take nothing away from Ron's photo which is good..has he's caption says Right O Way. So Harry, please get your facts right before you criticise good responsible people, Thank you.
Way I see it ,if he had not been on the pavement ,I wouldn't have taken the pick .No I idea what he was doing there. Each to his own . All different points of view keep this page going .
Isn't the top of Wallgate, also the top of library St???
Ken R, don't you know Wigan aswell. If the horse and cart was across the road where the coach is heading, then it would be the top of Library St...but this is Wallgate. God, dont you know where you live!!!!!!!
Garry's absolutly correct, if you put it down to the nitty gritty.
Good job Ron D and Ken R are not postmen, thanks Sue.
