Excellently captured, Dave.
I saw the afternoon`s performance up until the start of the Piazza event at 2.45pm - attended Evensong in Wigan Parish Church at 3pm.
Was very disappointed with very few `troops` compared to June`s 2012 event. (weather was great for both, though!).

I have a theory. All this activity in the centre of Wigan is designed so the populus doesn't see the next building on the 'council's' hit list topple to the ground !!

Nice one Dave, very sharp and well composed.

Lovely clear crisp shot, well done Dave.

Helen, the next buildings in Wigan that should be raised to the ground and never built in the first place is the row in front of the church. Nice action shot Dave and very colourful.

Only SIX guns owdkewyed not eight.

Comment by: Dave (Oy) on 1st October 2013 at 17:18

Thanks folks.

Seven guns actually.

Comment by: Garry on 1st October 2013 at 20:52

Only four guns went off though.

Comment by: Dave (Oy) on 1st October 2013 at 21:33

True - and it took them a while to clear the three missfires. One in particular took three goes and finally went off with a helluva bang!

Comment by: owdkewyed on 2nd October 2013 at 00:15

Yep seven shots but the guy in the background is strangling one !!
