Where!

Garry, it was held in the garden of thier home in Camberwell Cres. Whelley. They put a great deal of effort into making it a success .the last four years events raised over £6000.. Yvonne told me that this years party had raised over £1100, with the raffle for both a signed Wigan rugby and football still to,come. Unfortunately neither Yvoone or Joe are seen on the photograph ,no doubt busy in the kitchen or on the barbecue !.

Well done Yvonne and Joe and thanks for the photo Thomas. Its surprising the number of events that are held such as this and no-one really gets to know. I will be at a memorial charity bowling event on Saturday at Leigh Rugby Club. The event is in aid of a lady bowler who died fairly recently. Not playing myself as I will be doing the photos!. Starts 10.45 if anyone would like to come along.

Tom, he's a ringer for Fred, he lived in Camberwell Cresc too.
As did my S/I/Law ( both deceased) Margaret Thorpe & her Hubby Bill
