A great big steaming thing of beauty.
Beautiful ...
Very evocative, excellent.
brilliant shot, and no overhead cables in sight, and well kept p-way
Wonderful sight - great photograph!
Thank you so much for the lovely memory.
Excellent shot John, pulling plenty carriages ,the immense power of steam amazing.
British engineering at it's best and still going strong.
Well done John.
British engineering is still the best. Its just a pity that the vast majority of Brits are unpatriotic and buy foreign.
Makes me cringe when I see war veterans turn up at various functions in German cars. We have become the most unpatriotic nation on Earth.
Thanks for all the comment everyone. Tracey I couldn't agree more. It is interesting that the "German" Mercedes F1 cars and engines are made in Britain!!! So much for German engineering that gets talked about so much.
Fantastic machine
I discovered today that all 4 cylinder BMW engines are made in Britain. Its not enough though.
I agree with Tracey regarding lack of patriotism in this country.
