Photo: John Harrison (Camera: Canon EOS 600D EV: 250th on F8)
Nice one, John.
Just four simple colours.
Very peaceful.
how lovely!! A carpet of gold (to check if a giant likes butter??)
Lovely photo John......I miss the buttercups......thanks for the reminder.....cheers!!!
That is a beautiful photo John.I just love it...as the saying goes, pretty as a picture.
Magic .To think that this was an old industrial site of pit dirt.
Nice to see one of your pics John, the field of Christmas trees we call it because of the Scot Pines.
stunning. i keep sayinmg how the buttercups are looking great this year. I don't know Woodshaw park
The rabbits will be having a "field"day!
Lovely photo - and aptly titled "Buttercup Heaven"
Good shot John. There are buttercups everywhere this year :)
Beautiful photo John. What is the Wutchie? (Not a Wiganer!)
Ive never seen as many buttercups that there are this year.
It looks like that someone as cut a path through the field.
Great photo. Lifts the spirits. Good to see that there are still "wild", unspoilt areas of town, amidst the urban sprawl.
A stroll into summer, fabulous, just what we need to pick up the spirits.
Looks like a lovely Monet,John.
lovely picture . can you remember , do you like butter !
makes you want to go for a stroll,a very good photo
Janice the Wutchie is a local name for Woodshaw Rook a hill built up from old pit waste many years ago it is situated in Aspull a couple of miles north of Wigan
Nice picture but I`m glad they are not in my garden !!
Not been round there for years. Used to walk the dog round there when it was first planted about 10yrs aago. All the saplings then were about 2 foot tall. It looks superb now...... and can only get better.
