My husband used to organise a photographic competition and I used to see the entire entries, this would win hands down. it is superb, composition, colour etc. Well done.

I was born in Wigan but don't remember a Southgate - good photogtraph.

david, this is the new road from Wallgate to the Saddle junction built recently to reduce congestion. Not sure that it is working properly yet.Went from Asda into Wigan yesterday traffic was horendous.

A new road? Does this mean I'm going to get lost going from Marus Bridge to Wigan when I come home next week?

I noticed a few weeks ago when you had some photos taken from the lamp post cherry picker on photo of the day you said dont worry I wont be putting them on all at once.

Myself and Oy have access to put photo-a-day pics on the site. Sometimes I run low on pics or I'm too busy to add them so the queue runs low, Oy to the rescue! All help appreciated.
