Nice photo Mick but I can't tell where it was taken from, is it from the golf course?
On this photo it gives the impression there is a lake covered in snow between the centre bushes and the hall.We has locals know there is NO lake anywhere near the hall
peterp, I think you will find that this is a view of the side of Haigh Hall overlooking the golf course, Mick it looks like it was taken further up from the hump back bridge? H.
Im stood chiverng on the hump backed bridge.
That's a rarity - "Blue skies, nothing but blues skies" as the song goes.

You all seem to be having an Ontario type of winter, this year! After a late start,so are we, contrasting with last year, which was unusually mild with little snow. I too remember the winter of 1947/8; we actually had lasting snow to play in, which was much appreciated by my generation!
