Winter
Photo: David Thomas (Minolta DiMAGE X20)
Are you sure this is not Siberia???
Another magic wintery image......Thankyou Dave.......cheers!!! :-)
Awesome picture ... can feel the cold just looking at it ... Well done David ...
looks lovely, remember tramping through the snow on my way to beechhill school in my short pants and thread bare cloths and saying to myself I going to Australia one day.Great shot for a christmas card.
A very nice photo. I like the gradual transition of colour from the foreground to the sky, and the similar gradual transition of tree sharpness from the foreground to the hazy distance. Well done!
Great picture, David! We've had so many of these lately,(no complaint intended!),it's hard to find enough superlatives with which to comment!
....by the way,is there still a cricket club at Dalton?
Good shot Dave. I can feel the cold from here
You have the same name as my dad so i got a bit of a shock when i saw it! Lovely photo. Very atmospheric.
Excellent photo "In The Bleak Mid Winter" would be a good title for it.
That's a good winter pic I almost feel the cold.
Now that's very nice.
That is a beautiful photo David..another one that looks like a lovely watercolour painting..it looks like you were out early morning..which in the snow is very brave.
What a stunning picture, I feel cold looking at it Brrrr
Ooooh I like that. :)
Superb image David. What can I say that others already have'nt. Wish I had taken it!
That's a belter, that is!
Made into my desktop background. Absolutely stunning!
Top draw...and a lovely part of rural Lancashire...Cheers.
.....on a cold and frosty morning.
Nice photo Dave.
Thanks for all your comments especially Dave Oy and Andrew Fishburn who's photographs i think are terrific,Ellen the cricket club at Dalton is still going strong.
Calender photo ,excellent David.
What day was this, Dave?
A lot of new mames in comments above.
Do you play golf?
Was your P-a-D on 30th Jan.`13 taken with a zoom lens?
Thanks for that,Dave Thomas. I spent many Saturday afternoons there as a teenager. Strange how in retrospect, they were always sunny Saturdays!
Beautiful picture.
What a beautiful photograph
While I sit here rain pouring down and just over recents major floods, I think to myself now here's a photo I could look at every day, while we swelter in our humidity. Just lovely and cooling and such a contrast with a bit of mood thrown in!
Absolutely amazing!!! The different shades and colours. Superb!!
One of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen on here.
