May I wish all Wiganworlders at home and around the World A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Although we have never meet, and may never meet, I think there is a feeling of comradeship between us .When there is a difference of opinion on some matter or other I'm sure we all value the site and its diverse points of veiw . As a family might listen to other members take on life. We all owe a massive vote of thanks to Brian, Ron, and the team who make it all possible Kind regards to all, Tom.
There you go, Brian, `Robin` us of Wigan photo`s yet again !!!!!!!
Seriously though, I admire the quality of these `wildlife` photo`s.

Lovely image Harry Merry Christmas to one and all.
Rev David, Since youv retired from the Church trade do you still go to church ?
Most of us when we retire we never go back to where we worked so I was just wondering if your the same.
I was at Midnight Mass last night..., but in the congregation with my wife.
I may have retired from being a Vicar, but I'm still a priest - that stays with me to the grave.
Most retired clergy end up filling in, for holidays etc., for the present generation of Vicars. However, we need Permission from the Bishop to officiate in his Diocese, and the Bishops here insist we have a complete break from any form of ministry for 6 months after retiring.
I've only just received my Permission, so I've yet to start taking occasional services. We usually keep clear of our former parishes in case we're tempted to tut-tut about how it's gone to the dogs since we left. :-)
Early morning on Boxing Day S.A. time and what a beautiful picture unfolds on my iPad !!
This little fellow signifies all that is Christmas!! Although we have them here they are not the same colouring.......
Thankyou for the reminder Harry!!!
Merry Christmas.... Cheers!!!
Reverend David,I loved the last sentence of your last comment! It called to mind the various comments I've heard in the last twenty or so years in this area. It seems that people are the same no matter where they are!
Rev David, Very interesting reply I like the Tut Tut how it's gone to the dogs since I left.
Well said Rev David, i once asked you at about the time the work on St Catherines was just begining but i didn,t get an answer (you,re excused) do you still keep your title of Reverend when you retire, i think the question has been answered. Were you at St Wilfrid,s Midnight Mass by any chance Rev? A Merry Xmas and a healthy and Happy New Year to ALL.
Beautiful Robin!!!
Love it Harry I'll get a good photo of a Robin yet. When I find that Hide lol keep em coming.
ALLAN. If I see you around again with your little Scottie I'll point it out to you. Cheers H.
