Swan Pond
Nice shot Ron. Seems like a nice day there. One solitary Duck.
Another lovely pic from one of my very loved places, thanks Ron, cheers!!!
Wheres the Swans?I see ducks.looks very tranquil
One of the loveliest parks in Lancashire...or is it Greater Manchester.
Two ducks, a drake, and a moorhen in my version, Ken R.
Peterp, The swans in question are freshwater mussels, rather than the birds.
Can't see the moorhen, yes two ducks and a drake!!
Did I hear from some source that it is only the ducks that quack, the drakes are unable to? Cheers!!
Garry, Wigan never left Lancashire and ceased to be part of the occupied territories of Greater Manchester when Greater Manchester County Council was abolished in 1986.
dizzy lizzie the moorhen is inline with the drake to the right, do they not have spec savers down under ah.
Got it!!!! Zoomed in, thanks Twitter!! Yes we do have spec savers here, they are in most major shopping centres. I ware specs full time, blind as a bat without them, that's why I didn't see the moorhen straight away. Moorhens are called swamp hens over here, I don't know why??? Cheers!!
Theres some videos of Haigh Plantation here.
