Photo-a-Day (Friday, 16th November, 2012)
Abram flash
Photo: Frank Orrell (Nikon D90 with 18-105mm lens)
A lovely picture Frank, the elderly lady enjoying the autumn sunshine, Thankyou Frank.
Lovely light Frank! I'm a big fan of shooting in tio the sun :)
I'm round Polly's every day with our Ben and didn't recognise it! A lovely Autumn view.
Very nice photo Frank and I agree with Dave about the light - even the lens flare adds to the photo - looks a little like falling leaves.
That looks like your missis walking in front Frank.
Oh Frank, your pics wasn't that good in the post&chron evening rag.
must have been frustrating to see poor reproductions.
Water drops on the lens!
Not water drops Les. Caused by light reflecting on the internal elements of the camera lens. You can not always see it when taking the photo but it appears afterwards when printed or viwed on a computer. Can spoil pictures - or as is the case here - add to the lovely light.
The spot to the right of the lady near the tree is one of my favourite spots to fish, either side will catch big tench and crucians, I love the spot, but I haven't been able to go this year, never mind there is always next year, the only down side I can say at present about Pollies, is why have they put so many speed humps on that road ???
Simple Aitch, To slow speeders down!
I know they are to slow speeders down Gary, but I never heard or saw any problem with speeding in that area, the road always seemed too narrow and winding,as well as having plenty of parked cars around.
