Nice shot. Is it taken INTO the sun??
Lovely autumnal scene. Brings back memories of Haigh Hall in the 50s.

Beautiful!...."Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by."
Glorious!!! What a beautiful picture of the Autumn glow, Haigh Hall which I remember well,my Mum used to take us on the bus for an adventure through the plantations, well done Roger, cheers!!
Super photograph Roger. Lovely colours, light and shadows and a very pleasing composition. Lo vely to think that all this is on our doorstep.

Fred!!! How can this pic be boring!!! It is gorgeous, the light is amazing even the lovely shadows on the carpet of leaves, it's lovely Fred, cheers!!,
Lovely photo, Roger. What a great time of the year. I remember the smells in Autumn also. Just read that Haigh woodland is now owned by the Woodland Trust.
Yes Janice you are so lucky to have this glorious place on your doorstep. Being on the other side of the world and unable to get back to these places, it is so good to see these pictures that keep us expats up with what is going on. Thankyou to all the mad camera clickers!!! A big cheers to you all x
Stunning shot, bet it don't look like this today - well done U
wonderful photo
Roger,That is a lovely sight for sore eyes...and the composition is great.
Well Fred! You surprise me! What floats your boat then or are you generally one of lifes bored?
I Would say the sun is coming over the photographer's right shoulder .and not taken into the sun. But that does not stop it being a pleasant picture.
Janice, I think Fred is fed up with photo`s taken in Haigh Country Park of which there`s been many.
Fred Mason, please tell us who Woodland Trust are.
The Woodland Trust are going to start thinning out all those overgrown rhododendron like they have done in the Rivington Japanese gardens.
Yup, Don't know who this Fred is, but must be a sad case if he finds this photo boring...
Nice shot Roger :-)
