I really like these type of pics, the same as the chocolate box ones earlier. This one is just as nice and is a credit to you Alan. Looks like a lovely prunus tree there and the stonework is really stunning but very hard to get right according to my bricklaying husband. Cheers!!!!
I was talking to a man who lived in one of them last year, I thought it was just one house but I think he said its three houses.
When I left school I worked with a man who lived here.He would tell me of his time in the trench's in ww1
Worked at the cottage on the left many years ago made the windows and side door and gates,the little bow window on left gable end was still original then, the glass was actually curved in the three segments of the bow as regards to being flat like modern windows.Good detail photo Alan.
