Looks as though he is enjoying himself as well - despite the fact that he appears to have run into the bank! Wonder what that dog is thinking.

Comment by: Ken R on 20th October 2012 at 00:29

No, he's not run into the bank, he's picking up the dog.

What's with his name all over the canoe. Is he craving attention. Probably no one would recognise him otherwise.

When was this taken, Alan/

Paddling is contentment,
brings back memories, carefree and pleasant
I'm one with the water, I'm in my element,
outdoors always a pure enjoyment,
nature's vista, its colours pleasurable,
its hidden bounty, its secret joy,
silent beauty uncomparable.....
It always takes my breath away,
truly inspires me in no other way.

Dog thinking hes not very good at the doggy paddle

Comment by: Dave (Oy) on 20th October 2012 at 09:20

Never heard of him - but he obviously takes his Kayaking seriously - that's a Sea-going Kayak! I'd have knelt down and got a lower angle but it's a nice shot - and I think the doggy adds to it too :-)

i think the dog is thinking get out that canoe and i'll bite you.

Dr Google says he Kayaked across the English Channel in May 2010, to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance.

Paul was doing a training session for a fund-raising kayak trip across the English Channel in May 2010, to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance.

He's also very well known for his hard work in supporting and promoting north west charities, well done Paul you deserve some relaxing time out.
