peterp, what do you mean by a sub addition? There is no question that Photo-a-Day comes under Photos of Wigan.

Ernest I am not getting into a deep debate has what photos should be on this section of WW if you dont like (the wrong photos to you)Then E-mail Brian or just dont look or comment about the photos if you think they should be elsewhere.Has I have said before they are all good photos to me no matter where they where taken. has far has i am concerned end of debate enjoy life

We would enjoy life a little more if the photo's were of Wigan and NOT animals! Recognisable places around down.
peterp, there is no question of a deep debate. It`s quite clear that P-a-D should be a Photo of Wigan. As for a competion, if you`ve read my previous comments you`ll know that I`ve stated a number of times that it`s not a competition. Ron Dawber seems to think it is.
I refrained from commenting about this photo, as again it`s the type of photo that you see in a competition, even though it`s taken in the Wigan area, it could be anywhere.
Gary..as you have probably not noticed..everyone else's remarks obviously point to the fact that we all enjoy life a little bit more when there are animals.
Maureen, there are a number of you who like the `wildlife` P-a-D`s and Brian says he can`t have a separate folder for them. There are plenty other websites that cater for the `wildlife` photo`s - most competitions have them.
Ernest, This board is about photos' & comments on them.
You seem to be attempting to change it into a chatroom with with directions to other posts, & comments on posters. No offence but you make more posts than others, not about the pic in hand. So one comment on the quality, like or not & content of the photo, is all that's required.
Let the photographer make the choice of what he/she posts...(Brian will choose what is allowed, that's his prerogative) ;o)
Art, There are other people who put more comments than I on P-a-D.
The short comments about the photo are like those for a competition, which P-a-D is not.
The links I give are to give more info and people appreciate them.
As for a chatroom, other people started to chat well before I began to comment.

These boards are littered with similar instructions (not links) made by you. Something almost never heard of in the past. (BTW some of us have been on here over ten years)
Post a (pic)comment by all means, but leave the diatribe out, & leave the rules to the Admin...Brian & Ron, after all, they are the arbiters of these boards....Cheers.;o)
