Really nice photo, walk past this church many times when visiting family in Marus Bridge. I often walk to Wigan and back.

Foundation stone was laid on 1st September 1863 and took 3 years to build. Cost estimate was over £15,000 (£1.02 million as of 2012).

I once went up there bell tower while looking for a carved canal barge that was made by a Wigan canal barge builder.
Ill put some photos of it on the forum section
