Photo: David Barker (Nikon D3000. Tamron 70-300mm, 1/30s F/8)
Well-caught, David! Looking into her eyes, she reminds me of one of the "nowty" headmistesses or hospital-matrons of long ago.....I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of her!
Sod um ,make em have um . Good one David.
Quite agree Irene. Nice photo but what an angry looking bird!
A great photo but she certainly doesn't look happeya bout being photographed.
Lovely shot,it looks like she's saying..now that's close enough.
Its surprising to see how nicely colored our birds are the starling looks mostly black until you get close up.

Oh, here we go again. I knew it wouldn't be long before another moan from dh made its way on here again.
Personally, I don't mind what the pics are providing we don't have the same subject, whatever it may be, for days on end. We have had a varity of things this week....something completely different each day. Thankyou to all the photographers.

She,s a bird, dont they all pull their faces from time to time, lol. Good shot David.
Why are women often referred to as "birds"? Is it because of the worms they pick up?
roy How dare you.
Irene Priceless
Touche, ann21, touche! So many men are quick with the jibes against women, but can't take it back. Mind you, our Roy hasn't retaliated so he's probably a good sport!
No i haven,t retaliated Irene i appreciate your worm joke, i can take it as well as give it, i did end my statement with, lol, so it wasn,t meant seriously.
That looks like a young blackbird which could be male or female.
I knew it was only a joke, Roy. It's nice to have a laugh on here instead of arguments.
