Motley Crew

Men well out-numbered, Ron !!
What was the hiring fee?
Ernest .The last time I hired a boat from that yard was 1974 it was 80£ a week .They will have gone up a bit since then .No doubt some one on here will know. Sorry.
After all the "celebs" photos we are bombarded with every time we go out, on newspapers and magazine covers, with their stick-insect bodies and plastic-surgery faces, how lovely to see a happy picture of ordinary folk laughing , tucking into a bit of grub, and having a good day out!
It was hired from here:

Ron,the joy on the faces of the people in your photo reminds me of Renoir's 'Bal au moulin de la Galette,Montmartre'often described as the happiest paintig ever created.Great phot,Ronoir.
That makes a change, nice one Ron. H.
Thanks Wigan3r-have looked at your excellent website. There`s a brief glimpse, on the video, of the bridge on the towpath shown on P-a-D 5th April`12 and a lot of discussion took place.
Ron, I`ve just seen your P-a-D of 7th February`12 showing this bridge also. You didn`t comment on the P-a-D 5th April`12 !!
I checked the site, This time of year is £135 a day at weekends and £110 a day Mon - Fri.
excellent picture Ron, well done!
Wigan3r,A plug like this must be worth 50% of my next hire.
I don't work for them, was looking last week to take the kids sometime in the summer and recognized the boat from the website.! I can imagine them getting a few bookings on the back of this though.... might be worth a mention!
Sounds a bit expensive for self catering....lovely picture though..thats how hols should be.
Ron, what about me bringing the money aspect up !!
Twice round the island and back in time for tea
