Photo-a-Day (Wednesday, 27th June, 2012)
Male bullfinch
Earnest won't like this one John.
I've tried different feeders but don't get these in my garden.
Harry C.You all know my feelings of photo`s of `wildlife`on Photo-a-Day.
I like to watch and listen to birds when outside or looking out of my lounge window.
Last Monday, whilst playing golf, several swallows were flying low around me. It`s marvellous that they don`t collide.
I like this photo John, get them in my garden now and again.
Better natural history picks than poetry .for that matter outs better. I also think that this is becoming more of a chat room.
birds of all species applauded .
nice one John.
"errrrr hello" have we gone back to wildlife pictures again? snap out of it and dont make me get my mad up.
The beak appears out of focus
Good close up John, one of my favorites the Bullfinch lovely colour.
Dirty Harry,
'Snap' out of it - very good.
There was a photo of a bullfinch on
P-a-D 18th March 2010.

FOR GODS SAKE - ENOUGH WITH THE BIRDS!!! If you want to post pictures of birds join a photography site or a bird watching site, not - and look at the header - Wigan world. I'm not saying they are badly taken, you're obviously a skilled photographer, but what does it show of Wigan to the world? This could've been taken anywhere
WHAT HAVE THEY GOT TO DO WITH WIGAN? HOW IS THIS SHOWCASING WIGANWORLD?
Boring boring boring boring and..... oh! Boring.
Re the comments made by Ron D yesterday regarding Photo-of-The-Day becoming a chat show, I agree
with him entirely.I thought P-H-O-T-D was to discuss photos. The a
