Was the girl looking at the up line to scotland or the down line to london?Both lines empty hope she did not have to wait long for a train?
A rose between two thorns
spent 100s of hours sat on that wall in the 80s . thats when springs branch were at its best.the girl is looking on the down fast to scotland and its the up fast to london happy days.
Brian, many years ago I drove a steam loco, a short distance, at Springs Branch.

My wife always says down to scotland and up to london.Her dad worked for BR i now know why she says it.
