It had to rain on the open day, but still a great day. Many people was in the cafe behind the two maids. But the prices were ridiculous.

Mesnes park nice to visit but if pavilion is too expensive then folk will not buy in there but go into Wigan instead
A great photo, makes you think what it was like all those years ago when it first opened, bet it was a real treat for the people of Wigan.
Best thing to do, in fine weather, peterp, is to take your own food and drink and have a picnic !!
