Daffodils in the hedgerows and Spring has come at last, the long long winters over. We look now to Summer and Autumn after that, and then we're back to Winter ,the daffodil asleep ,but it won't belong to Springtime .......!

Ernest, if you look closely, I'm sure there will be a bird in the trees ;)

I love daffodils, I remember the one in Greenough St very well. But isn't it a bit late for daffodils?
Thanks Harry

Watched a neanderthal walk down the canal , he was pushing a pram, his girlfriend by his side. He walked through to daffs, kicking them as he went. "Wish I was as hard as you", I said.
Bet you can guess his reply.

This is the real maggie. We have, in the park where I go with my dog every day, lots of daffodils, very carefully planted, As I walk round, they begin with the early ones, then some a bit later, then finally, some much later. The first lot are now over, but there are many more.

Thanks all for your comments, just walking home from my Tuesday morning swim last week and had my Nikon in my pocket, so I couldn't resist all the daffs.
