How the landed gentry lived, like kings, and less than a mile away people did'nt have enough to eat.and lesser mortals would be expected doff there caps to the "Lord."The Crawford's were not the harshest of landowners, and did some good things for Wigan,but they also had there pound of flesh. The unfairness of it all still rankles

The building is looking good, but they could have replaced or repaired the fence. where the large tree has been felled the fence is missing parts and others are broke.
