Whodunnit?

Whodunnit?
Missing bronze plaque dedicated to the former Freeman of the Borough, Alderman and Mayor Coun Francis Pagett. The Friends of Mesnes Park hope to replace the missing plaque with a plastic one.

what a disgusting thing to do. At least they will likely leave the plastic one alone.

If they catch the ******** who are doing it they should be sent into all the conflict area's in the world and forced to fight for their freedom. There is no greater disrespect to a country than to vandalise it's heritage.

Lee,
Low lifes like those would be no use to our soldiers. They already have enough to cope with.
If this or even anyone caught doing grafitti happened in Singapore, they would be publicly flogged. Now where is my tin hat before all the do-gooders have a go!!!!!!!

They're just low life scum...and so are the people who buy it off them.

theiving, ignorant scum, they dont care about heritage, they dont care about war memoriols they dont care about me you or anything in our comunity, they take, smash, vandalise and dissrespect everything,'animals'

It makes my blood boil, the perpetrators should be named and shamed...if and when caught.

Comment by: Ellen on 7th January 2012 at 18:06

I agree whole-heartedly with all the above! (cannot find the words for my own feelings about the above-named ******** who do this kind of thing.) In my small town in Ontario,we had some animal "totems" in a riverside park which had been carved by local artists. The scum, not content with only graffiti, vandalized further by,taking axes to them, then burning.Words can't express my contempt for them.

What I find heartening is that so many people here say it like it is without one dissenting voice. It is about time that these scumbags realised just what decent people think of them.

The real trouble is, that they won`t be named and shamed....that will be against their human rights(!!) they will just go home with a slapped wrist and perhaps do unpaid community sevice for a couple of days (and then claim it back in benefits !!)

Thanks for your comments.I believe that if you have rights you should also have responsibilities.
