Chinook
Photo: David Barker (Nikon D3000 Sigma 70-300mm lens 1000/s at f/5.6)
an apache flew over abram other day
Good shot , your tax payers pounds at work, it must be RAF, nobody in wigan could own that, you never know.
just looks like a matchbox toy
It's a Chinook
It may be irrational but helicopters scare me. I always imagine the two sets of blades touching one another and then it would be a catastrophe!
Nice shot, i like helicopters and fly radio controlled versions, good fun.
Always remind me of the terrible war in Vietnam.
What a great picture David.
I took a picture of a helicopter flying over us (not as low as this i may add !) When i looked at it on camera it was the size of a buzzing bee !!Ah well !
Thanks for your comments.
Nice photo David but a slower speed say 320 /400 would have given the motion blur to the rotors
I might wear Simon Cowell trousers but even I know thats a Chinook. Anyway, try a shutter speed of about 1/125 to get good blur on them rotors, me pie eating mate !!
I may be slighty bald and a retard from Crewe but even i know that's a chinook.
I post my address later if anyone interested.......
All that needs to be said to you Cowell ::
