'Little Tunnel'it was always called,David. The men used to have a pint in 'The Bull'a few yards away, then come out and play 'penny toss' on a bit of spare land on the York Street side of the tunnel.Look outs posted of course for the bobby.Ah!we didn't have much but we knew how to push the boat out.

Thats the spot where they found the body of a man who was missing from home a few years back.

I go through there on my bike and always feel as though there some one watching me so I dont hang around.

It is not now a place to be late at night Dave, injecting druggies and crack heads hang about under there and previous to them it was used by prostitutes, from used condoms to used needles - not a nice place at all after dark.
