That is a really good photo, just captures peace & the sun rising/setting ? I can't tell from which compass point it was taken. You people who send in pics for Photo a Day are a talented lot !

Hi mick, this is a good shot,a nicely framed viewpoint,it has depth, a bit less sky (put your hand over the top part of the sky on your screen and you will see what I mean) and more foreground would have changed its perspective slightly, Ive spent years trying to get what I see in the viewfinder to show up in the finished image and it ain't easy. Keep it up. regards jeff

henry the church in the background is Our Lady and All Saints in Lancaster lane and the other is on the side of the hill and is called Christ Church Douglas-in-Parbold.
