Haigh Hall Fountain (Pt 2)
The fountain in the lily pond in Haigh country park. The recent superb weather enabled me to take the opposite approach to John Harrison, using a shutter speed of 1/1600s to freeze the water droplets with the sun shining through them. Not better, just different.....I thought John's shot was excellent.

Hi John H,
You just jogged my memory about frozen droplets of water.
Many years ago, I went down to Niagara in the middle of winter, minus 20 or so. The mist from the falls was rising into a clear blue, cold, sky and freezing solid and dropping as hail. It was strange since the frozen droplets fell from a clear sky. Quite an experience.
