Autumn
One of the stone pillars on the path down the side of the Woochie in Aspull. I don't know what it was for, perhaps someone can help.

,Could be whats left of a old enterance pillar or a very big gate post.

Dont them pillars have a metal bit on them maybe for a pulley of some sorts.

Part of the cable lift (??) says my other half...to take pit spoils up to the top of the Wutchie.

Good photo. I find it difficult to put it in perspective. Where on Woochie would this be?. Near the Top Lock end?.

its somthing to do with telephone poles,there's three or four in a line and all have wooden remains in the middle

The poles are gone that were embedded in the concrete that held the ariel tip line that created the Woochie.
