What a great picture of Wigan from the south siade maybe? mat use this as a screensaver
I love this picture! It makes Wigan look like a medieval European town!
What an excellent shot of the town and surrounding hills. Well done, Ian.
Great. Thanks, Ian :o)
Fabulous picture, gives a feeling of what it was like long ago, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
great shot, was it taken from Little Lane?
It was taken form m6 motorway footbridge near to old opencast at Windy Harbour.
What a fantastic photo Ian, job well done, I absolutely love it..
Thank You for putting this on...
One brilliant picture! I would love the photographer to take the same shot in one months time. Reason being; the tree to our left of Haigh Hall always puts on a splendid show. Spring it is a 'pink ball'; Autumn, it is a 'golden glow'. It can be seen for miles!!!!! Especially from the 'Galleries'. Thank you
Does anyone know which church it is, middle left of picture ?
A great photo what a postcard it would make. I could be completely disoriented but the church at middle left looks like St. Patricks on Hardybutts. I'm willing to be corrected on this
To use this as a screensaver is a good idea , its a good picture.
After looking on the internet, I've changed my opinion. The church at center left is Wigan St. Michaels and all angels C.E
I think the church is St Michael's not St. Pat's. Great Photo.
great picture, you wouldnt think this was wigan seeing all the greenery, ive always said id love to live in the country and its right there on my doorstep :)
Great shot Ian. Realy good .
This stunning photograph is now my screensaver Ian. Had lots of comments about it too. Great talent you have there ;)
