Jay Bird
Lovely birds, Jays. We have three that come into our garden. They are so shy & I am amazed you got this pic Ron...a good lens helps I expect. Thanks for showing it.
Ron,that is beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
wow! what a beautiful and detailed photograph.
The amount of wildlife in our burough astounds me; we have some amazing greenery. I never knew we had Jay birds in Wigan! :)
Fantastic photo, Ron
Nice shot Ron, the Blue Jays in Canada have a crest on the head like a Red Oriole.
Ive seen a few of these up Rivington and thought they were some sort of Kingfisher. You learn sumat every day.I have looked at every pic posted on WW,superb.Keep them cumin, thanks.
Ken R, We usually have several Blue Jays in our back yard. They are larger than this one, with crest on head and are very vocal, with a rather "hoarse" sounding cry. (we are in mid-western Ontario)
My favourite bird - great shot!
Fantastic photo Ron, send it to RSPB for publication.
shot a jay in my very early teens, and when i saw what i'd done to such a beautiful creature never used an airgun again.Still regret this nearly 50 years later, fills me with disgust at myself
I live in Wandsworth, London and a
beautiful Jay comes into my small town garden to eat the peanuts I put out for the squirrels every day - Amazing!!
