Absolutely beautiful! Apparently they're very often mistaken for dragonflies. Here in Holland I think they both have the same name (libelle).

Reply to Colin Harlow 30th June. I was real close, I was on the floor & slowly got the camera close enough to get the shot. Mind you the shot did take a while to get. They kept flying off so back to start again. Thanks to you all for your wonderful comments John H
