lived in aspull as a kid in the 60s,probably fishtit. just cant remember, its location?
Here i am sat on an island surrounded by the North and Irish Sea, where is Aspull ? lol.

Walked past the other day the water levels are dropping with the dry weather,nice photo Harry.
Excellent photo Harry, Is it possible you could give more of a description for those not used to the area like myself,then maybe others can take a look, You certainly seem to know your way around different spots.

Head for Aspull from Wigan, when you cross the bridge over the canal at New Springs and start climbing, halfway up the hill turn left into Higher Lane, turn right after the hight barrier (walking)just before Mopin Lodge after 100 yards turn left onto the bridle path, the pool is on the left hand side 50 yards along.
