Wonderfully captured. It must be in the Haigh Hall grounds at the Whelley end. Not familiar with that area.

Hi John Harrison, why dont you say where this is, other people may like to take a look when out walking,

Directly opposite the Alex Pub in Whelly there is a school. Walk past the school so the school is on your left. You then come to some trees, threw the trees till you come to a path. Turn right the waterfall is about 100 yards up the path. May I say thank you to whoever is responsible. for making this place so beautiful. This water is Cristal clear, there are small fish & tadpoles in this water now. A few years ago it was filthy

A more direct way to get to it is to go down the step by the bridge at the Alex pub. Go under the bridge and follow the cyclepath, at some point it will jink to the left to enter the Plantation grounds. The waterfall is just a few yards further on.

A fantastic effect with the water, nice one.

Dennis - you are describing a different waterfall to John H. The one you are referring to is near the yellow brook. John's is near the new balancing ponds directly behind the houses on Whelley (i think!)
