Lovely colour ducks are Mandarins theres lots in China and the Chinese dont eat them like everything else because for some reason they dont taste very nice.

The dusks also build there nest in trees similar to wood ducks

Excellent photo Ron, but what was the bird who was trying to get into the shot as it hasn't got webbed feet, you can just see the large feet top of photo.

I believe the Swan Pond is so named after the Swan Mussels that were in it.
