Bullfinch
Truly wonderful.
Isn't that just gorgeous.
Another great photo Dave. Thanks for sharing it. Don't know how you do it.
Fantastic shot! Where do you keep getting these captures of birds? I want more varities of birds in my garden, bored of blackbirds now.
Try sunflower seeds - they are fantastic for all kinds of finches
Another fantastic shot again Dave, was the bullfinch taken at Pennington as well? Bullfinch(pyrrhula pyrrhula) widespread in north-west, most numerous in southern England and Ireland. Monumental's right Emma, just hang nuts and seeds in the garden to see all varities of birds.
Thanks folks.
Yes Colin - Pennington Flash
At the risk of repeating myself;just beautiful. I'm looking forward to Daffodil pics --- Coming soon?
Love that bird,great photo Dave
FOR GODS SAKE - ENOUGH WITH THE BIRDS!!! If you want to post pictures of birds join a photography site or a bird watching site, not - and look at the header - Wigan world. I'm not saying they are badly taken, you're obviously a skilled photographer, but what does it show of Wigan to the world? This could've been taken anywhere
WHAT HAVE THEY GOT TO DO WITH WIGAN? HOW IS THIS SHOWCASING WIGANWORLD?
Boring boring boring boring and..... oh! Boring.
Lisa, these birds are wonderful, just look at the comments they've had. 10 comments so far, thats 9 to 1, you being the 1, I think the birds sings for themselves... dont you! tweet tweet.
lovely photogragh dave , keep em coming ,for gods sake lisa ,,go peel some spuds,, ,
If you read my post you would have seen I didn't take anything away from the photo being by a skilled photographer. My point is... what has this got to do with Wigan?
Oh, by the way, the comments are from the same people who always say nice things about the birds not attracting any new posters is it? And since you all seem to like the same thing perhaps you could start your own ornithology site??
