We have such happy memories of sailing along here, we did most of the canal, not all, the weather was good and the narrow boat was comfortable.

Good "Halfway House" between Wigan and Chorley when cycling along the canal. The pub now called Bridge 63 sold cloudy cider when I called last summer, just the tipple to cool you down and quench your thirst
