Has anyone noticed the distinct lack of SNOW ? i think this photo was taken on Monday 4th Jan ?????
Monday did have a keen frost.
Today we are snowbound.
yes it sails down to parbold, while you are eating, quite expensive though, the kittywake is cheaper, but the scenery is not as nice, cant win!!!
Restaurant boat eh? Cool !!
Thanks Mick.
I was at the watersedge pub on sunday and waslooking at this boat and the other boat moored up on its own further down and was a nice crisp sunny day
It was nice on a summers day, just having a leasurely pint on the canalside at the Waters Edge. Families, kids exited feeding the ducks. Visiting craft like the Rose of Parbold, carrying the disabled on a pleasure trip, coming for an afternoon meal & drink. Then that boat appeared, parked all across the waters edge frontage. No kids, no ducks, lovely smell of diesel.
Took the shine off a pleasureable hour for us..:o(
Only one good thing....Carol's back..;o)
so thats Parbold Hill in background! Wow. Ised to live in Lathom near the Canal. Lovely areas along the canal
Sane man, that's Ashurst Beacon, t'other side of the valley from Parbold Hill..;o)
