Feeding time
I fished there many times as a kid. Seen some big fish caught from that outfall. One day a pike grabbed the catchers finger and tore it badly as he landed it. Lot of houses there that weren't there in the sixties, and a marina.!!
We used to approach the Flash from the railway to avoid the 'permit mon'who always stood under the bridge, both now gone.Good memories of fishing with my dad.
he looks like a lonely bugger.
Not lonely. Thinking about times gone .Just like every other normal person . Good photo.
I was in Wigan Sea Cadets and we had our boats and canoes on here it was great fun to be able to sail across Scotsmans
not seen this place for ages, me and my best friend would compete to see how many small perch we could catch on one worm before there was nothing left. great memories of forty od years ago rony isn`t with us now (Ronald Bach, RIP)
