Very atmospheric photo...looks like the sun may have been setting on a hot day....but I may be wrong if the picture was taken recently. Anyway its great, as have all the others like it.

Good photo John.I have seen lots shots of St.Catharines and every one seems to have a slight curve in the spire. What do you think; could I be right or not.

REPLY TO A PARR.HI. YES ST CATHERINES CHURCH SPIRE DOES HAVE A SLIGHT LEAN. I'M TOLD THIS HAS BEEN CAUSED BY SUBSIDENCE DUE TO OLD COAL MINE WORKINGS.OTHERS MAY BE ABLE TO SHED MORE LIGHT ON THE SUBJECT.HOPE THIS INFO HELPS. J.
