What is the "Woochie" ?
Comment by: Harry C. on 8th July 2009 at 09:05
Alan, the Woochie is spoil heap or slag heap, from pit waste, treated to grow trees.
The steps are a fairly recent addition, can't remember exactly when. cheers H.

Hi Harry, Where does this reservoir supply water to, You seem to be a fountain of knowledge, Thanks.

Phil s, as far as I know it doesn't supply water to anywhere, it's used only for fishing, there is an over flow that runs into the offshoot of the canal at Top Lock. Cheers H.
