Interesting composition. Everything pointing to the mill.

One of the best I`ve seen, Dave. When was it taken? `The Way We Where`has, sadly, gone.

In 1945 I used to back my van of the main road into Wigan Pier (The Way we Were)and load Hovis flour in 168lb sacks to take to Glovers bakery in Hindley were I was working. The sacks had come by barge to Wigan and slid down a chute from upstairs.
