Mere Oaks
The trees at the back will come down first to open up more land for more flats.
Property ownership is one of the best investment returns even it it isn't occupied!I have seen newly constructed office blocks remain unoccupied for years.Todays weather is as depressing as your photo Brian, but I suppose it makes a change.
It's not going to be flats - it will be "luxury houses" - probably ten or so
Few anagrams of Mere Oaks :-
Remake So ? (er .. Rake Some 0
Make Sore ? (Quite a lot of folk)
Rake Some ? (Money do you think)
You're right dave about property ownership and returns etc. it's just that sometimes we seem to be so driven by profit / cash etc. i wonder how all the children and families that attended Mere Oaks have settled into their 'new' facilities' ?? lots of yellow ribbons showed a lot of feeling to the closure, but i feared as did most people it was a lost cause.
